The Nike Air Flight Huarache Returns In “Dark Smoke Grey” And With Layered “Air” Logos

Nike’s Air Flight Huarache has had a number of retro runs since its debut in 1992. Over the last eleven months, the silhouette has emerged in a number of original and new styles, treating old and new fans alike to a classic from Nike Basketball’s golden era.

Seemingly part of an expansive collection that’ll include the Nike Dunk Low, a newly-surfaced pair has taken on a “Dark Smoke Grey/Barely Green/Cool Grey” color scheme. The color palette is muted enough to fit in with last-minute Winter 2023 plans, but the Swoosh will likely launch the style in the first-half of 2024. Neoprene visible at the profiles opts for a light shade of grey, contrasting its dark-tinted surroundings. Yet, the most eye-catching contrast arrives in the form of a faint green color that animates everything from the branding on the tongue to the malleable “Nike”-branded heel clip. Like the aforementioned Dunk, the high-top model features layered logos on the spine, although it opts for stacked “Air” messaging instead.

The lightweight, but responsive cushioning and traction solution underfoot also stays on-theme with the remainder of the shoe, rounding out the Air Flight Huarache’s special makeup with a “Barely Green” outsole.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch in early 2024. The Air Flight Huarache is priced at $125 USD.
