As is typical with the Jordan game shoes’ approaching its half-life, a repackaged, low-cut construction is crafted and employed for the second half of the silhouette’s existence. While the Air Jordan 37 has already indulged in its lowered form, the silhouette is turning back to its mid-cut roots for a grade school offering infused with one of the low tops’ vivid color blocking.
Initially debuted via the Air Jordan 37 Low, the hue of the synonymous Minecraft ore encases the entirety of the leno-weave upper in a vibrant wash of “Lapis”. Mirroring its low-top construction to a tee, jet-black contrasts envelop the neoprene collar and tongue while an illuminated injection of “Crimson Bliss” anchors the sock liner and seldom trim of the tread underfoot. While a majority of the upper is cast in a gloomy composition, a lightened aesthetic consumes the Formula 23 foam midsole in a faded plum outfit with a semi-translucent finish accompanying the lower heel counter with “Saturn Gold” insignias.
Pictured in its grade school sizing and currently available for a retail price of $140, enjoy official images of the grade school-exclusive Air Jordan 37 “Lapis” below alongside our accompanying store list to grab your own pair.
