Though high-heat affairs may no longer be its forte, the New Balance 2002R is a familiar sight in that cadre, still capable of delivering standout looks every so often.

Suddenly appearing for a Foot Locker exclusive release, the retailer’s colorway coats heavily in that atmospheric shade, spread liberally across a mesh base and the suede overlays that weave just a layer up. Leather anchoring in between delivers more staid off-white tones, bridging the gap between those cerulean colorings and the equally sprightly light pink embedded into the midsole.
