You can argue all you’d like about the top spot, but the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 is unquestionably on the Mount Rushmore of current “dad shoes” along peers like the ASICS GEL Kayano 14 and New Balance 1906R. With the Y2K wave showing no signs of slowing down, so too is the 2010 product marching on, now introducing the “Summit White/Pink” Nike Zoom Vomero 5 set to release soon.

The color blocking of the silhouette are essentially endless, which is what makes this shoe’s novel spin somewhat surprising. Previous pink Vomero 5 colorways have either issued the shoe with rosy accents or all-over tonal treatments. Splitting the difference between the two, the model’s open knit structure gets a heavy dose of flushed coloring, , mirrored on the outsole and laces. The rest of the shoe executes a rather standard overall composition, including the requisite silvery shades through the overlays, a faux-aged midsole and some jet black anchoring to result in an overall grounded profile.
