Andrew Rizzo First unveiled at Paris Fashion Week last year, Comme des Garçons has released its next Nike Air Force 1 collaboration. Men’s sizes are available exclusively at Dover Street Market for £155.
The meanest version of Bruce Kilgore’s lifestyle staple is here presented in premium cowhide leather, noted by the slight pebbled texture on all the upper paneling. The lateral side features abstract white shapes and letters, while the medial view shows “CDG” text around the heel. The backtab and tongue tag come in all-black to match the base, and an oval, metallic silver lace dubrae adds a slight vintage touch.
This marks the seventh total CDG Air Force 1 in circulation, with the most notable predecessors being three-way projects with Supreme in 2017 and 2018. Looking ahead, CDG’s next projects with the Swoosh include takes on the Field General and Air Rejuven8.
