A “Blue Tint” Gradient Sets On The Nike Shox TL

A new aesthetic marches on with the pistoned model.

A “Blue Tint” Gradient Sets On The Nike Shox TL

As the Nike Shox TL enters year three of its retro, the growing ombre concept is one of the foremost ways that Beaverton creatives are pushing the envelope with the silhouette. Eschewing the techy metallics that defined its early run and the flashy solids that followed those, soft gradient treatments are already defining the silhouette in the early goings of 2025, highlighted by a new “Blue Tint/Total Orange” colorway that just emerged.

For the initiative as a whole but also for this specific edition, it’s hard to ignore the Air Max Plus, long a standard bearer with this aesthetic and one whose construction lines up well with the mesh/synthetic composition of the Shox TL. The comparison only becomes more stark given the tropical skyline palette on tap for this shoe, taking the As you work from the shoe’s midline to the lower portions of the upper, the breathable mesh begins to dim down, executing an picturesque sunset only further highlighted by the jet black anchoring surrounding it.

As a true Nike GR, the Shox TL “Blue Tint/Total Orange” doesn’t have a concrete release date. Instead, expect this pair cropping up on Nike.com sometime in the near future — the model’s typical $170 retail price is expected.
