RETAIL PRICE: $120
RELEASE DATE: Apr 5, 2025

Nike is following a path charted by the Dunk and SB versions of the Jordan 1 with an Air Force 1 tweaked specifically for skateboarding. After being tipped off in June of 2024, official images of the Air Force 1 SK8 have finally emerged.

At first glance, the Air Force 1 SK8 looks awfully similar to your run-of-the-mill pair of Forces. The only obvious tweaks are thicker laces and a bit of extra padding in the tongue; Zoom Air insoles and other hidden tooling changes are unconfirmed at the time of this writing. Further alluding its skateboarding identity, the shoe doesn’t feature SK8 branding or any other defining iconography. These don’t even fall under the Nike SB banner, which might tip off that the changes are more cosmetic than anything else.

The “Psychic Blue” colorway pictured below looks to be one of the model’s inaugural colorways, taken with gum soles and the titular accent shade on the Swoosh and lining. The upper is comprised of “Photon Dust” leather and suede, complete with debossed “Nike Air” branding on the backtab.

Nike hasn’t gone public with release information yet, but the Air Force 1 SK8 is expected to arrive Summer 2025 (meaning April at the earliest). There’s a chance that the model will be available at skate shops, but the fact that it’s not considered a Nike SB shoe suggests otherwise. In any case, our “Where To Buy” section below will update with a confirmed MSRP and store list as we creep closer to a release.
