NEIGHBORHOOD Teams Up With Vans’ Premium OTW Label On The Old Skool 36

A tonal two-pack drops on December 20th.

NEIGHBORHOOD Teams Up With Vans’ Premium OTW Label On The Old Skool 36

Though their relaunched/rebranded OTW label, known as “Vans Vault” in a previous incarnation, was unknown to NEIGHBORHOOD, the Japanese streetwear titan is no stranger to a Vans collab. It only makes sense that as the OTW sub-brand begins to re-establish territory, they’re on tap to assist. A duo of Old Skool 36 colorways, a slightly retooled version of the classic model, is on the way, carrying a heavy dose of branding that echoes some of NEIGHBORHOOD’s most lasting mottos.

True to the brands’ previous endeavors with Vans, NEIGHBORHOOD queues up another set of monochromatic kicks for this latest delivery. The key touches compared to what you might find as a general release are the sets of debossed type on the toe-box, heel and midsole, proudly stamping the imprint’s “Craft With Pride” and “Faith [and] Fury” motifs into the shoe. Elsewise, both pairs execute the premium flair that the OTW label seeks to capitalize on; a slightly reimagined sole unit that bulges further out from the upper than regular Old Skool pairs and luxe suedes and leathers on the upper make the two colorways some refined options to add to the rotation.

The NEIGHBORHOOD Vans OTW Old Skool 36, in both the “natural” and black colorways, will release on December 20th via the neighborhood.jp site. It’s unclear when it’d take place but Neighborhood hinted at a wider drop down the road via their socials, advising to check with local retailers on this pair’s availability/release date. While we await details on that potential stateside drop, check out official shots below.
