Jordan Brand Pens A Cleaned-Up Pair Of The Kids’ Air Jordan 1 Mid

Even for adults, it’s never too early to start thinking about next season’s rotations, and the speed with which kids run through footwear makes that an even more prudent idea for parents. Jordan Brand’s year-ahead planning and production schedule aligns with that line of thought; even though we haven’t fully wrapped our arms around winter wear just yet, Beaverton is unveiling a perfect Spring pair with the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Metallic Silver.”

True to its title, it’s a full smattering of neutrals on display with this pair, somewhat relying on “Chicago” style blocking with a combo of “Summit White/Photon Dust/Metallic Silver.” Some very subtle rosy tonality comes via the translucent sole, a finish mirrored by a new sheer lower eye-stay tacked on towards the toe. Outside of those two unconventional touches, this Air Jordan 1 Mid colorway does well to maintain the classic style of Mike’s first signature, bringing some sprightly energy in the margins to make this a match for the younger demo.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Metallic Silver” is available now via Nike.com, up for grabs in sizes from 2.5Y to 7Y, commanding a $120 retail price. Use the “Where To Buy” widget embedded below to grab your pair.
