adidas Spezial, the archive-focused wing of the Three Stripes, is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2024 and meeting with familiar faces to mark the occasion. Following the release of an END. Clothing capsule earlier this year, SPZL is now linking up with Italy’s CP Company for an even more expansive delivery consisting of apparel and five sneaker models.
The collection begins with the CP Italia SPZL, a model CP Company introduced through their inaugural SPZL collaboration in 2021 (which celebrated adidas’ 50th anniversary). While their first effort came in red, white, and green Italian flag colors, CP Company utilizes blue and white here as a nod to the country’s national soccer team jersey.
Also included is the CP Manchester SPZL, a play on the classic adidas Handball silhouette, as well as the CP SL 83 SPZL and CP Helvellyn SPZL winter boot. Last but not least, the CP Wimberly SPZL is presented in two different material compositions. One uses cream leather and fabric stripes, evoking a rare perforated version of the adidas Universal from the 1980s, while the other features a brown suede base with mustard yellow detailing.
As promised, CP Company also has an expansive line of apparel on tap. Sweatshirts, tees, ball caps, and gloves are all en route, but the highlights are a puffer jacket and flying jacket.
The CP Company x adidas SPZL collection releases November 12th via adidas CONFIRMED and select retailers. Quantities are limited, so be sure to act quickly if you’re hoping to cop a pair. See detailed images of all the shoes below.
