G-Dragon Receives Custom PARANOISE Air Force 1 To Celebrate Latest Collaborative Launch

Ahead of the third overall release of the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 “Para-noise” on September 14th, brand founder G-Dragon of Big Bang fame received a special gift to commemorate his collaborative partnership with Nike. This custom pair of the AF1 was crafted by rifare.co, an artist renowned for his imaginative reconstructions of footwear with Asian design influences in mind.

Using the PEACEMINUSONE x Air Force 1 as the base, rifare.co adds various embellishments around the shoe to further tell the story of PEACEMINUSONE. At the toe are additional white-petaled flowers in three, matching the appliques on the tongue. The rivets, which come packaged with the shoes, are placed onto the midsole adjacent to the “AIR” lettering, while an additional tab extends just below the heel-tab of the shoes.

The more obvious modifications arrive via the tabi-toe, which rifare.co accomplished by literally chopping into the shoes longitudinally. Additionally, he adds a segment at the midsole, leaving the mid-foot of the upper last exposed.

This is a custom one-of-one piece made exclusively for G-Dragon, but you can get the next best thing by copping the PEACEMINUSONE Nike Air Force 1 “Para-noise 3.0” on SNKRS and select retailers on September 14th.
