Is the Nike Vomero 5 starting to become oversaturated? The trending tech-runner has been releasing at a torrid pace rivaled only by models like the Dunk Low and Air Force 1, two models that Nike will reportedly cool on due to overwhelming stock. In any case, most sneaker industry watchdogs aren’t complaining (yet). This “Platinum Violet” colorway is next up, expected to release during the Fall/Winter 2024 shopping season.

Consistent with other new and upcoming Vomero 5s, the shoe reflects a clear retro running vibe with modern touches. The titular “Platinum Violet” hue is accompanied by “Dark Raisin” on the tongue, toe, and heel for subtle contrast, while “Team Gold” touches up the Swoosh border among other accent elements. Material-wise, the shoe comes crafted out of standard mesh, leather, and synthetics.
