Nike Air DT Max ‘96 “Colorado Away” Releases This September In Two Colors

We’re on the precipice of Week Zero in the NCAA, and once again, Deion Sanders and his Colorado Buffaloes will be one of the biggest stories, especially as phenoms like Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders pitch in their final college seasons before heading to the NFL. Nike is clearly aware of the stakes, as Deion Sanders’ shoes are getting a major push as we look ahead to CFB Saturdays, continuing with the Nike Air DT Max ’96 “Colorado Away.”

A flip of the “Colorado Home” colorway set to arrive on September 2nd, this pair reflects the Buffaloes’ road gear rather faithfully. White leather lands on the top half, the claw-like cut-outs revealing gilded panels underneath, accented by black detailing on branding throughout the shoe. Though the expressive design language of the DT Max ’96 very much succeed in this cleaned-up colorway, it places some more emphasis on the finer details. A throwback “Diamond Logo” emblem appears on the insole, and Sanders’ actual face peeks through in the underfoot Air Bubble (a detail revealed when Sanders teased this exact pair in May.)
