The dark anchorings of the lace-stay elephant print and sockliner, combined with the prominent red Jumpman on the tongue have already elicited some comparisons to 2014’s Infrared 23. Even if that’s not where your head goes first, this release serves up a smattering of familiar touches, building upon the off-white tonality the WC3 Reimagined made famous and a conservative, neutral palette overall. For the true collectors, you’ll want to note the special edition packaging on tap, matching the colorway with the 70/30 split box that last arrived with “Green Glow” earlier this year.
