Jayson Tatum Channels “Infrared” On This Jordan Tatum 2

Dropping August 2nd in full family sizes.

Jayson Tatum Channels “Infrared” On This Jordan Tatum 2

As anticipation for the yet-to-be unveiled Jordan Tatum 3 grows by the day, the Jordan Tatum 2 continues to surface in new colorways. Taking a page from the Nike Air Max catalog, this latest pair communicates an “Infrared” aesthetic through “Bright Crimson” accents atop a predominantly white base.

Original Air Max colorways from the 90s and modern basketball shoes typically feature bright colors in their own respects, so it’s no surprise that signature Jordan Brand and Nike Basketball models tend to adopt such heritage-packed palettes. Devin Booker’s Nike Book 1 has been spotted in “Volt” makeup akin to the original Air Max 95, while the Nike KD 17 actually takes things a step further, incorporating TPU overlays a la Air Max Plus.

The iconic Air Max 90 “Infrared” is the informant behind this Jayson Tatum shoe, as “Bright Crimson” hits on the mudguard windows, heel, and inner tongue lining give off a similar aesthetic. Black rubber appears around the midsole in lockstep with the original “Infrared” palette, while an all-white base diverts attention to the shoe’s more colorful elements.

Pairs are currently scheduled to release on August 2nd in full family sizing, with adult pairs marked at $120. See detailed images below and tap our Jordan Release Dates page to preview more upcoming hoops shoes.
