Joining the brand’s recent wave of innovative kids-exclusive products, The Swoosh 1 is the first Nike kid’s shoe to ever receive the American Podiatric Medical Association Seal of Acceptance. Comprised entirely of Flyknit, the latter is effectively built utilizing over 80 percent recycled materials by weight; providing 360 degrees of pliable stability.
Knowing that babies have more nerve endings concentrated in their feet than any other part of the body, the Beaverton brand’s latest construction promotes the natural gait pattern that remains integral to each newborn’s development. As such, the easily malleable upper and TPU outsole allows the foot to bend, splay, grip and flex in any desirable form as the baby’s gait begins to solidify within the first five to six months of life.
