Ever a fan of the obscure, COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS has just revived the Nike Air Pegasus 2005.
Over the past year, the Swoosh has been trying to capitalize on the unshakable “Y2K” trend that has brought decades-old performance runners into the spotlight. COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS’ latest subject debuted 18 years, serving as the 22nd iteration of Nike’s “workhorse with wings.” Featuring full-length Nike Air, the silhouette resembles the Air Tuned Max in shape and enjoys porous mesh construction on the tongue and throughout the upper. Leather panels at the mid-foot, tip of the toe, and around the heel are replaced with premium suede, with original breathability strips at the sides being omitted. Underfoot, the retro sole unit matches the top-half’s either all-white or all-black, keeping true to COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS fashion.
Enjoy detailed shots of the duo ahead, and find the pairs right now exclusively available via Comme des Garçons and Dover Street Market stores globally as well as DSM E-SHOPs. Comme des Garçons’ wholesale clients will launch their stock at a later date.
