First Look At The Kim Jones x Nike Air Max 95 Duo

First Look At The Kim Jones x Nike Air Max 95 Duo

Objectively one of the most important names in fashion, Kim Jones — current artistic director at Dior — has often bridged streetwear, luxury, and sneakers through his many collaborations. And while it’s been quite a noticeable length of time since he last dressed a Nike silhouette by his lonesome, the renowned designer is back with his own take on the Air Max 95.

Unlike the refined, premium feel of the Dior x Air Jordan, the 95 outfits quite bold, accented with many a loud, hi-vis orange and green tones. These accent the webbing of the eye stay, the Air unit in near neon shade, and the branding alongside, while the rest of the construction leans towards a two-tone of black and olive. The former is much more subtle, shrouded by the latter, while the green comes in across the leather overlays, marked above by what looks to be Morse code. Then, in contrast, a film of bright blue rounds off the construction, bringing with it both Nike insignia as well as the Kim Jones name.

Grab a detailed look here and expect not one but two to arrive later next year.
