Michael Le Undoubtedly among the most important sneakers of all-time, the Nike Air Max 90 “Infrared” is poised to make one of its biggest returns tomorrow.
Delivered in a referential Air Max III namesake, the pair takes the beloved colorway and applies it to this year’s new, vintage-based form factor. White mesh lies underneath at the toe box and collar, packaged with grey suede panels and slightly darker Swooshes. Black polished leathers then outfit the mudguard, completing part of what is effectively a true homage. But, with the coming update, there are some relatively undiscernible tweaks aside from the name: for example, the “Infrared” is actually “Radiant Red,” though likely due to its brighter exposure, the shade appears more reminiscent of older versions.
