The Nike Air Force 1 ‘Year of the Rabbit’ has a somewhat obvious inspiration, but was there any particular reason these ended up looking something like a Jefferson Airplane collabo? Turns out ‘White Rabbit’ is a brand of Chinese creamy candy, and when you click through to see our extensive detailed look courtesy of the fam over at FRESHNESS, you’ll see just how perfectly the shoe matches its inspiration. Everything from the color palette down to one of the coolest packages we’ve seen is taken from the candy, with the shoes shipping in a molded two-piece box that’s shaped just like White Rabbit wrappers. All of these details on a relatively calm design makes for one of the best Chinese New Year sneakers yet, but unfortunately it’s a China-exclusive release (January 23rd for the special edition package and 28th for a wider release).
