With Breast Cancer Awareness Month underway, it’s time to show your support, and this can easily be done through your shoe styles. Think pink, with silhouettes from slides to stilettos, and at all price points.
While wearing pink shows that you’re taking a stand against breast cancer, donations go a long way, and many brands offer proceeds from sales to continue the fight.
Designer Tamara Mellon is using her platform to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month. She is donating 100 percent of proceeds on all purchases Oct. 20, National Mammography Day, to benefit the Dubin Breast Center at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. The money will go directly to integrative services that support patients at the center, regardless of their insurance status.
