Ugg is bringing a fluffy new take to its hit Tazz slippers with a new shoe this season.
As part of its fall 2023 collection, the Southern Californian brand has introduced the Tazz Uggbraid slippers within its women’s assortment. The $140 style features a round-toed silhouette with thick platform soles, as well as heel tabs for easy wear. However, most notable are its uppers — cast in light cream, brown and black colorways — which feature a fuzzy wool texture punctuated by a crossed, interconnecting embroidered pattern.
The fluffy style is a new take on the label’s popular Tazz slippers, which have been a longtime staple for the label. In recent months, the original Tazz style has become a top shoe of the moment through TikTok — prompting it to frequently sell out online, according to outlets including E! News.

The Tazz Uggbraid is the label’s latest slipper style for the fall 2023 season, alongside its new quilted Tazzlita and the aforementioned Tazz. Ugg’s recently released styles also include a range of flat and platform-soled boots in both short and tall silhouettes — including its Dipper boots — cast in hues including tan, brown, pink and cream, among others. You can discover the full collection now on Ugg’s website.
In other Ugg news, the brand has recently increased its efforts to market towards Gen Z in the 2020s, as well. The label’s parent company, Deckers, is also focusing on brand growth with the 2022 hire of its president of fashion lifestyle, Anne Spangenberg.
“Our promise to the consumer is around comfort and feel,” Spangenberg exclusively told FN in April. “So how do we continue to do that? How do we look into our archives for great products with great solves that we can introduce to a new generation of consumers. And then, thinking about what their lives look like now, how can some of our heritage products serve those needs.”
