London Fashion Week has finally come to a close, bringing with it lots of custom Ugg boots.
From Sept. 15 through 19, the likes of Chopova Lowena, Ashley Williams and Ashish shared their spring 2024 collections accompanied by footwear provided by the Southern Californian brand, remixed to fit the show’s concepts and motifs.
Chopova Lowena’s presentation, titled “Girl’s Tear, Girls Tear,” brought wild and whimsical footwear to the forefront, adorning every tan and black suede style with crystalized gemstone and brooch detailing that imparted an ornate high-shine finish. The British-Bulgarian label showed footwear that paid homage to Ugg’s ever-iconic Tazz style, often styled with frilly lace socks and graphic tights, a Chopova Lowena staple.
The collection took inspiration from Helston’s Flora Day Festival, an annual festival taking place on May 8, held to mark the arrival of spring.

Ashley Williams returned to the London fashion scene following a two-year hiatus. The designer’s comeback was backed by Ugg’s bravado, their unique boot silhouettes serving as a backdrop for striking “I Heart Me” graphics set atop hot pink uppers.
Their shearling boots in black and tan were given a rustic upgrade, adorned with colorful gemstones and pendants, offering the footwear a DIY-ed feel. Ugg offered a £20,000 grant for Williams’ show production costs through Fashion East’s XLNC program. The show explored themes of “pre-and-post-civilization,” acting as a commentary on civilization today.
Ashish’s makeover of Ugg styles came after four years away from the runway. The show was described by the brand’s designer Ashish Gupta as a “blast of sex-positive, body-positive, joyful celebration of everyone.”
With that notion in mind, Ashish utilized six styles from Ugg’s extensive line, including their Dipper, Tasman X, Goldenstar Clog, Tasman Weather Hybrid and Tasman Slipper. Each silhouette was customized with shiny sequin adornments, pastel tones, kitschy scribbles and floral graffiti pulling from similar motifs found in the clothing presented.
