Taylor Russell has been underscoring her status as a fashion darling at this year’s Venice International Film Festival. The starlet, who is at the event as a judge, has been turning up on red carpet after red carpet in a series of neutral looks. For her latest, she went to the premiere of “Queer” today and wore an all black gown with lace covered pointed-toe pumps.

Russell’s gown is a custom creation from Loewe. Russell has a close relationship with the brand, having worn Loewe for this year’s Met Gala. Jonathan Anderson, Loewe’s current designer, was also the costume designer for “Queer.” For Russell he created a hooded dress featuring lace panels, a lace train and a slit up the side. The all-black ensemble follows a few white looks the actress has worn in the past week. Her entire Venice Film Festival tour was styled by Jahleel Weaver, Russell’s new stylist who is most known for his work with Rihanna.

As Russell’s leg appeared from between the folds of the dress via the slit, her shoes became visible. The styles were a stiletto pump with a severely pointed toe. The stiletto likely measures about four inches and is extremely thin. The entire shoe is covered in lace, matching perfectly with the lace of the Loewe dress. The shoe is reportedly a custom design from the popular footwear designer Amina Muaddi

The black shoe directly follows an all white look that Russell wore from Maison Alaïa to the premiere of “The Room Next Door.” For that premiere, she wore a crop top and drop waist skirt also from the designer, and paired it with the brand’s Decollete pump. That shoe was worn by Tilda Swinton earlier today in turquoise.

Alaïa is selling the white Decollete pump in patent leather for $1,390.

Prior to that, Russell notably wore a pair of white Christian Louboutin heels with a vintage Chanel gown.
