Sofia Boutella walked the red carpet on Wednesday to celebrate the “Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver” album release party at the Knockdown Center, a large club in Queens, New York. Boutella, who was also celebrating her birthday, wore black satin pumps with a unique cutout design at the vamp.
Boutella’s black pumps featured a pointed toe and approximately 3.5-inch stiletto heels. Pointed-toe pumps are a favorite of hers.
When the actor and dancer was invited to Gucci’s fall show at Milan Fashion Week on Feb. 25, for instance, she opted for red leather in the Italian brand’s burgundy patent leather Signoria slingback pumps. At a Netflix Super Bowl party on Feb. 8, she wore black pointed-toe pumps. At the “Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire” world premiere on Dec. 13, she channeled fiery glam in all-red, completed with red pointy-toe pumps.
The “Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver” cast and crew gathered at Knockdown Center to celebrate the release of “Rebel Moon: Songs of the Rebellion,: a five-track companion EP featuring music from Jessie Reyez, Tokischa, Tainy, aespa, TOKiMONSTA, Black Coffee and Kordhell. The party featured DJ sets and Boutella was surprised with a birthday cake.
The new film will be released on Netflix on April 19 and follows “Rebel Moon — Part One: A Child of Fire,” which was released in December. In it, Boutella stars as warrior leader Kora in the sci-fi film directed by Zack Snyder alongside Staz Nair, Michiel Huisman, Anthony Hopkins and Djimon Hounsou.
