Rosalia has been cycling through looks during her stay in New York City. The singer has been flitting around the city, heading to a wedding as well as New York Fashion Week events. As a result, she’s worn quite a number of looks and with multiple outfits, she’s worn one of this year’s trendiest shoes—mules and kitten heels.
On Saturday, Rosalia was spotted in a grey, wrapped minidress and a black and white striped scarf in Tribeca, where she was thought to be attending fashion week events. For that look, the singer wore a slick grey mule-style kitten heel, combining two of 2024’s biggest footwear trends. Hers in particular comes from Invasive Modification and the style is the company’s Victorian runner pumps. They sport a sharp, pointed toe, as well as a pointed vamp punctuated with a small bow.
With a leather sole, the shoe is made-to-order and shows off Rosalia’s foot tattoo. The shoes are currently available for $582. The Spaniard singer was Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo. This is a change as Rosalia had been working with Lorenzo Posocco since just before the Met Gala.
That was only one of her kitten heeled-mules, though. The star was spotted on Sunday in the city wearing all black. She wore a cardigan over a long back dress while carrying a white plastic shopping bag. To accent the look she opted for a pop of color, and wore bright red heels.
This specific shoe was Manolo Blahnik’s red velvet mules. Featuring a large buckle detail on the vamp, this shoe also featured a short heel of about two inches. It is the company’s Maysale silhouette.
The Manolo Blahnik Maysale in red velvet is currently being sold for $795.
But there was more: On Saturday, she headed to Electric Lady Studios to attend Karen Elson’s wedding. For that event she wore a simple black pointed toe kitten heeled-mule in satin. It was Saint Laurent’s Barbara for $825.
It’s unclear if Rosalia and her stylists are using the style to establish a new silhouette as the basis of a new era for the musician. Female performers often relate their style to albums or other affiliated projects. Just weeks ago, Rosalia was wearing a slingback kitten heel style from Dior while hanging out with Blackpink’s Lisa. Either way, the cut of a mule does show off the star’s toned legs and the artsy tattoo on her foot.
