Olivia Culpo mastered one of the summer’s biggest trends with ease this week.
Headed out in Miami last night, the model gave a twist on monochrome styling in all-white attire; the ensemble teamed a bikini-style bandeau with a high-rise miniskirt and a perfectly oversize blazer all from Magda Butrym.
Color-coordinated attire has quickly become the must-see styling hack of 2021, offering a streamlined route into a chic ensemble. Major names like Tracee Ellis Ross, Eva Longoria and even Michelle Obama and Jill Biden have tried out the trend for themselves in the past weeks alone.
On her feet, the media personality broke out another one of this season’s top trends: big toe sandals. Big-toe silhouettes became a celebrity-endorsed style in the summer of 2019 and have since continued to appear on the likes of Katy Perry, Lori Harvey and Katie Holmes amongst others. The style offers a laid-back appeal with the stability and familiarity of the 1990s, a common theme amongst “it” girl trends this season.
Culpo’s pair, in particular, bears resemblance to new designs from model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s collaboration with Gia Couture Firenze. Together, the model and Italian brand created a chic capsule of mules and sandals including Toe Ring Mules that retail for $740 online.
Beyond her endless pageant titles, you may recognize Culpo from her appearances in “I Feel Pretty” and “Model Squad.” She also has starred as the face of ad campaigns for Rampage Denim, Express and Madison James, as well as served as an ambassador for the likes of DSW, Color Ultime, GHD and more. Her go-to brands for footwear as well include Brian Atwood, Jimmy Choo and Bottega Veneta along with Gucci and Manolo Blahnik.
In addition to wearing trending ensembles, Culpo dipped her toes into the design world by announcing last year that her new face mask brand, More Than a Mask, is officially partnering with Express. Proceeds from the masks will go toward Feeding America, with one mask equaling out to 100 meals for those in need. The masks come in a mix of patterns and prints, available at Express.com for $20.
