Moschino Gets Business-Ready With Wingtip Platform Boots

Moschino is bringing classic formal shoes a daring spin for fall 2023.
The Italian brand’s latest collection — notably the last by former creative director Jeremy Scott — features a range of slick boots, including a style that merges soaring platforms with dapper wingtips. The resulting $1,595 unisex style features shiny brown calfskin leather uppers with rounded toes and lace-up shafts. Chunky 4.9-inch block heels finish the set with a towering twist.
Aside from its soaring heels, the shoe style also earns a sharp height boost from its thick, lugged rubber soles. However, the pair also includes a sharply formal flair from its upper detailing, which includes triangular trim and perforations along its silver-rimmed eyelets and toes. The accents add a burst of texture to the style, revamping the staple office shoe within a slick silhouette — which is smoothly in tandem with the rebellious themes seen in Scott’s last Moschino collection.

In addition to its classic brown colorway, the shoes also come in a sleek black palette, as well, for those craving a darker style.
Moschino’s fall 2023 womenswear collection includes a variety of eclectic shoes. The brand’s latest lineup features pointed-toe and platform pumps, sandals, ballet flats and heeled boots in hues of black, brown and dark red. Far from traditional, however, these styles are given Scott’s signature Moschino whimsy with details including floral crystals, spikes and gold “Moschino” lettering charms, leaning into the line’s punchy punk themes.
