Lupita Nyong’o turned heads in a glamorous pair of white pumps while at the Variety TIFF Lounge during the Toronto International Film Festival 2024 over the weekend. The actress wore the Gianvito Rossi Plexi heel.

Crafted with a glossy patent leather material, the shoes featured an elaborate triangular design in the upper, which slightly curved as it reached the mid-foot region. The closed-back construction of the silhouette sturdily held the back of her feet in place, and were completed by a razor sharp stiletto heel measuring 4.1 inches in height.

The pointed-toe pump is set on a 105mm stiletto heel and crafted from leather and a soft see-through Plexi, according to the brand. The white heels are available for $815.00.

While the shoes were the standout of her ensemble, they also served as a compliment to her elegant blazer and skirt combo, which consisted of sharp tailoring, a hemmed skirt that showed off her legs and a dark navy blue design with a white outline. Underneath her blazer was a simple white blouse. Wearing her hair in a short curly bob style, she wore dark eyeshadow and brown lip gloss.

Pointed-toe pumps are now regarded as classic model that blend together elements of vintage and modern-day fashion. Many brands such as Stuart Weitzman, Chanel and Gucci offer a wide range of pointed-pumps throughout the season, and many celebrities including: Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Princess Beatrice, Doja Cat and plenty of others have been spotted wearing the style over the course of 2024 thus far. With the fall season quickly approaching, many are now opting to include the shoes within their daily wardrobe more often.

For example, Lindsay Lohan was also spotted over the course of these past few days in a pair of black pumps while appearing at the the Caring for Women Dinner hosted by The Kering Foundation in New York City. The shoes included a dramatic triangle upper, that were enclosed in the front, back and along the sides, boasted a low vamp and were finished by a stiletto heel that also fell within the 3-to-4 inch range in height.
