Lily Collins Slides Into Gianvito Rossi Ribbon Jane Shoe for ‘Emily In Paris’ Season 4 Part 2 Trailer

“Emily in Paris” is going to Italy. And for the trip, the star of the show is bringing at least one Italian footwear brand. In the trailer for the second part of the Netflix show’s fourth season, the show’s titular character Emily, embarks on a trip to Rome.
The show is known, in part, for Emily’s style so it’s little surprise that the plot line finds its way into the wardrobe. So in a shot, while in Italy, wearing a black and white check cropped coat, blue neckerchief, and long black skirt, as well as a pair of Gianvito Rossi shoes.
The shoes are the company’s Ribbon Jane style. The silhouette is a Mary Jane shape with a pointed toe. The shoe features a small gold buckle on the front and is made of smooth calf leather. Gianvito Rossi sells the Ribbon Jane for $895 but others have it marked as low as $358.

The shoe is likely relatively comfortable. Though it is pointed toe, the patent leather likely contains enough give to not overly pinch the foot. In addition, though it is low like many ballerina styles, the single sole and a very slight heel. This would insulate the foot from the toughness of Italy’s cobblestone streets.
Rossi is among the best bets to make the point of Italian excellence when it comes to footwear. The founder started the company after working for his own father, Sergio Rossi, another powerful name in shoes. Since 2006, he’s grown Gianvito Rossi into a global business.
As far as the hit Netflix show is concerned, Part two will drop on Sept. 12. The new trailer debuted yesterday and promised its dedicated fans new characters, more antics and the chic style the show has become widely known for.
