Lauren Sanchez Soars In Suede Jimmy Choo Platforms at Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women Dinner in NYC

Lauren Sánchez was a picture of elegance while attending the Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women Dinner in New York City on Monday night.
The former “Extra” correspondent arrived at The Pool wearing a midnight blue off-the-shoulder Oscar de la Renta gown. The gown is from the designer’s fall 2024 collection. The floral piece was created using velvet and lace, which formed into a fit and flare silhouette. The dress was completed by a dainty bow that decorated the open back. She accessorized the look with a pair of diamond earrings.
To complete the look, Sánchez slipped into a pair of black Jimmy Choo heels. The sandals featured a suede upper and a rounded toe. The thin ankle strap supported the boost of height coming from the platform sole and stiletto heel that was about 6 inches tall. The set currently retails for $950.

Sánchez was dressed by Kelly Johnson, who can also be credited for the Alexander McQueen dress and black pumps she wore to the This Is About Humanity soirée last month. The stylist has also worked with other stars like Tamera Mowry, Jennifer Lopez and Catherine Zeta Jones.
When it comes to footwear, the Emmy-award-winning journalist’s shoe closet is filled with stilettos and strappy sandals from famous designers like Christian Louboutin and Alexander McQueen. When off-duty, she will slip into a pair of comfortable sneakers from affordable brands like Nike and Adidas.
This marks the 3rd year of the Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women Dinner, which is organized to raise money for organizations like the Jordan River Foundation, that address gender-based violence. Stars like Salma Hayek, Kim Kardashian and Priyanka Chopra served as co-chairs at this year’s event.
