Irina Shayk Brings Back Equestrian Boots Trend for Rainy Day in NYC

Model Irina Shayk braved the rain and high winds in New York City on Wednesday. The stunner put on a pair of black leather riding boots to protect her feet from the day’s weather.
Shayk is a huge fan of black leather boots. She’s worn them over the years both off the runway and on. While she often adds combat boots to look up the edgy factor, she’s also been known to slide into other leg-climbing styles. Of her choices, an eye-catching look was one thigh-high pair she wore from Burberry in August 2021 while in Spain.
Shayk ran errands in New York City on Wednesday, at one point being spotted with Lea De Seine, her daughter, whom she shares with Bradley Cooper.

The Russian model chose a black leather equestrian-style boot for the inclement weather. Almost knee-high, the shoe featured a one-inch heel and a rounded toe.

Shayk is a leading model who has worked with brands like Burberry, Moschino, Versace and more. She has also become known for her street style looks of which boots are often a staple, though she will wear stilettos and sneakers from brands like Chanel. Her footwear closet includes names like Dr. Martens, Nike, Sutart Weitzman, Amina Muaddi and more.
In 2021, Shayk collaborated with Tamara Mellon, the former Jimmy Choo executive, on a capsule collection. That range included three styles: the Sand Dune, the Sun Valley and the Escape. The Escape was a slouchy boot. They revisited the collection the same year and three more boot styles including a pant-boot style.
