Chanel West Coast Sparkles In Rene Caovilla Sandals at MTV VMAs

Chanel West Coast sparkled at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 11 in New York, bringing an avant-garde flair to the carpet in a silver dress and complementary Rene Caovilla sandals.
The MTV veteran and star of “The West Coast Hustle” opted for an edgy, modern look to attend the awards show. Her dress included a ruched and jagged-edged asymmetrical skirt made of a silver chainmail-like material; meanwhile, the corset bodice was made up of thin pieces of white fabric connected by a myriad of safety pins.
The white bust featured even more safety pins as well as reflective heart-shaped metallic embellishments. The reality star accessorized with a number of silver jewelry pieces to further emphasize the aesthetic.

Chanel West Coast slipped on a pair of glimmering silver heeled sandals from Rene Caovilla to match her unique dress. The Lisa Silver Sandal 105 featured three distinctive straps stretching across the top of the foot, with the longest one reaching diagonally toward the back to become a slingback strap. The straps were embellished with small glistening crystals which aligned with the singer’s shimmering skirt. The sole is steeply arched to connect to a 4.1 inch stiletto heel. Also available in black from the Italian footwear brand, the sandal retails for $1,980.
This eye-catching outfit follows the musician’s 2023 VMAs look which consisted of heeled black leather boots and a glittering black dress patterned with crosses. More recently, Chanel West Coast celebrated her new series “The West Coast Hustle” wearing white platform sandals and a lacy pink set. She’s been known to wear sparkling sandals before, having showcased the style in an Instagram post last year in which she modeled Fashion Nova holiday outfits.
