Two years after sparking dating rumors, Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon have made their red carpet debut as a couple. The pair were attending the premiere of “Wolfs” at the Venice International Film Festival on Sunday in Italy. Their looks were posed as contrasts to one another with Pitt in a black suit and Ramon in a white dress. For footwear, Pitt wore boxy, leather, square toed shoes while Ramon wore metallic, strappy sandals featuring an open toe.
For the event, Pitt suited up with an option from Louis Vuitton. The custom, double breasted look featured a single button on the tuxedo jacket, fastened with a pearl button. Beneath it, he wore a sheer shirt. The pants were done in a matching fabric with a flared leg. In contrast, Ramon wore a form fitting, off the rack option. Her gown was the $238 Pillar dress from Entire Studios.
Paired with the full length dress, Ramon also wore a sandal from Jimmy Choo. The footwear includes a tall four inch heel. Named the Azia, the silhouette features an open toe above a sharp, squared off toe. Made in silhouette, the footwear is made in Italy and includes crossover straps as well as an ankle buckle and strap.
The style has been a favorite of celebrities over the years. Emily Blunt just wore a metallic pair for a Tiffany & Co. event in April. Choo still sells the shoe for $895.
Strappy heeled sandals have been a staple on the red carpet since the 1990s. At the time brands like Versace and Calvin Klein were putting them on the red way and designers like Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik were seeing success putting them on celebrities.
The couple posed for photos on the red carpet with Pitt’s costar George Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney, who wore a stunning beaded, butter yellow Versace floor-length gown that concealed a pair of silver open-toed heels.
