Audrina Patridge packed a punch in Hollywood, Calif., this weekend.
The “Hills: New Beginnings” star stepped out on Sunday wearing a hot pink slip dress. The silky piece featured a deep neckline and calf-length skirt, which Patridge cinched with a blue denim shirt tied around her waist. Giving the star’s outfit a glamorous finish were thin gold hoop earrings and two layered necklaces. Completing her ensemble were oversized sunglasses, a black leather Chanel flap handbag — plus a large canvas tote bag and a stuffed dog. A pink, purple and white flower crown added a playfully bohemian finish to her outfit.
When it came to footwear, Patridge stuck to her edgy style roots with a pair of combat boots. The Prey Swim designer’s style included black patent leather uppers in a round-toed silhouette, complete with laces, large tongues and silver eyelets. Finishing the set were ridged soles and thick block heels totaling 3-4 inches in height, giving her bright summer outfit a dark punk twist.
Heeled boots like Patridge’s add an edgy yet dressy finish to casual and formal outfits, due to their heeled silhouette on traditionally utilitarian combat boots. Pairs with block heels and ridged soles are the most popular, due to their versatility and comfort. The style has also emerged in new collections from Naturalizer, Sam Edelman and Vince Camuto in a range of finishes and materials as well. In addition to Patridge, “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” star Tatiana Maslany was also spotted wearing a pair of Tory Burch combat boots at Comic-Con 2022 in San Diego this week.
Renowned for her edgy style, Patridge often opts for knee-high and lace-up motorcycle boots from brands including Dr. Martens and Maison Margiela when off-duty. However, she’s also been seen in Converse sneakers, Gucci mules and a range of Sam Edelman and Havaianas thong sandals — plus heeled sandals and peep-toe pumps from Gucci and Christian Louboutin. Her red carpet style is decidedly more glamorous, consisting of stiletto-heeled and platform pumps, booties and sandals in a range of colors and textures, hailing from top brands including Louboutin, Brian Atwood, Jimmy Choo and Giuseppe Zanotti.
