Alison Brie was joyously blue on Wednesday on the set of “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” in New York City. The “Mad Men” actor wore Larroudé’s Daisy sky-high blue denim platform heels to add playfulness and height to her periwinkle look.
Brie has been busy promoting the upcoming Peacock series she co-stars in with Anette Benning, “Apples Never Fall.” The limited-run thriller is based on a novel of the same name by Australian author Liane Moriarty, who also wrote “Big Little Lies.”
Brie fittingly quoted Aqua’s classic “Barbie Girl” to caption the Instagram post of her modern ladies-who-lunch look, which was styled by Erin Walsh: “Come on Barbie, let’s go party.” Walsh also works extensively with Selena Gomez and Anne Hathaway.
When visiting “The Daily Show” on Wednesday, she opted for another (very different) pair of Larroudé shoes, the black leather Kate Hi Boot featuring 3.8-inch stilettos. While on the set of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday, she also chose height with six-inch Andrea Wazen platform stilettos.
Brie wore the Larroudé Daisy Platform heels in “Blue Stoned Denim.” The shoes also come in black suede and emerald fabric. They feature an all-over color, round open-toe, a slim ankle strap and a whimsical metal daisy on the vamp. The shoes are handmade in Brazil and feature a leather sole and cushy memory foam insole for added comfort. The tall 5.5-inch chunky heel is offset by a 1.9-inch platform for added comfort.
Larroudé was started by seasoned fashion director Marina Larroudé in 2020. Larroudé is committed to sustainability and comfort without sacrificing the fun and fantasy of fashion. They work with leather tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group that are committed to reducing their environmental impact and have a vertically integrated factory in Brazil. Their spring collection features metallic flat and heeled sandals with shells, wedge espadrilles, bright mules with bows and plenty of chunky heels and florals.
