Aldo Presents Disney Princess and Villain Collection Featuring Ten Footwear Options, from Heels to Sneakers
Magic is in the air — Aldo and Disney have teamed up to release a Princess and Villain collection, out April 10, featuring footwear styles ranging from heels to sneakers, in addition to accessories.
The collection includes four mule heels with statement flower adornments: the Aurora mule, which is light pink satin; the Maleficent mule, which is black satin; and the Cinderella mule, which is offered in white and blue options with clear straps. Meanwhile, the Ariel and Ursula heels are minimalist strappy sandals showcased in contrasting white and black options, both with metallic heels. And then there’s the Stepsister Heel, which is a light pink platform sandal with a bold block heel and a large, shiny bow adorning the front strap.
The collection also features casual, athletic footwear options. The Princess Sneaker is a low-top, slim-soled sneaker decorated with charms and satiny laces in contrasting pink and black (one color showcased on each shoe). All of the shoes in the collection are priced between $130 and $150.

According to the brand, the collection was inspired by the “duality of modern femininity, as the capsule captures both the grace and kindness from the classic Disney Princesses, while tapping into the bold and fearless nature of Disney Villains. You can see this contrast reflected in the designs, such as how the Ariel Heel mirrors the Ursula Heel. Each shoe has the same strappy design with an ornate gold scalloped shell heel, but the Ariel Heel is white, while the Ursula Heel is black.”
The statement continued, “Similarly, the contrasting Aurora Mule and Maleficent Mule have similar, yet contrasting design details that also play to this dualistic theme, with the Aurora Mule in pink and the Maleficent Mule in black. The thoughtful stylistic plays on light and dark, soft and strong, etc. allows consumers to embrace every facet of their personality — whether they’re feeling elegant and regal, or daring and bold, there is truly a style in this collection for everyone.”
The shoes in this collection showcase Aldo’s trademarked Pillow Walk technology. “It was essential in building this collaborative collection with Disney that the team included this proprietary comfort technology in the footbed of every style – so that no one ever has to sacrifice comfort for style. Around the release of the rebooted “Snow White” movie, the brand released the Snow White Heel – a striking white pump with a gold heart-shaped dagger heel; in the sneaker category are the Snow White Kicks, which showcase an image of the eponymous princess and other colorful details related to her story against a white backdrop.
