Yuto Horigome’s New Nike Dunks Are Getting One More Release — Here’s How to Get Them
One of the year’s most talked-about Nike SB sneakers is getting its final release Saturday after launching at skate shops today.
Japanese pro skater Yuto Horigome’s second Nike SB Dunk Low, an earthy, green-hued style inspired by matcha tea, will be released once more via Nike’s SNKRS platform.
“From the careful grind to the perfect pour, Yuto’s SB Dunk Low Pro evokes the patience and pride that goes into the fine art of matcha tea,” reads an official Nike product description.

Originally believed to be asparagus-themed due to the sneaker’s “Asparagus/Legion Green/LtKhaki/Dk Loden/Sesame/Burnt Sienna” colorway, Horigome’s second Nike SB Dunk is instead inspired by the green tea, which is prepared as a ceremonial ritual in Japan.
Details unique to the “Matcha” colorway include a Light Khaki suede base with speckled Asparagus leather overlays and a bamboo-inspired textured brown heel. Meanwhile, several custom details featured on Horigome’s first Dunk are carried over to this pair including his family crest on the heel, insole and behind the tongue. And like his first pair, the “Matcha” style comes packaged with alternate shoelaces including a pink option.
Horigome’s debut Nike SB Dunk was released in August 2003 and was inspired by Tokyo’s Ōjima Komatsugawa Park, where he grew up skating. The 26-year-old is a two-time Olympic gold medal winner in street skating and also counts Louis Vuitton and Supreme as sponsors.
Following a quick sell-through at skate shops this week, the Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Matcha” will be released on Saturday at 10 a.m. ET from SNKRS. Retail pricing is set at $135 and the sneaker’s SKU is HF8022-300.
