The sneaker-obsessed, subway-riding wizard character that West NYC introduced last year has inspired the retailer’s latest collaboration with Adidas.
Arriving before month’s end is the limited-edition West NYC x Adidas Gazelle Indoor “Wizard.”
The mischievous wizard’s purple and gold attire was mirrored on the collaborative shoe. The uppers are made with purple velour suede upper, and the Three Stripes are dressed in gold. Also, the gold hue is used for the wizard image — which also features Adidas’ trefoil logo — that appears on both the tongues and the heels. The shoe comes with three sets of laces and is completed with translucent gum outsoles.
Additionally, West NYC is adding a gift package to every pair purchased, which includes a satin bag, stickers, a numbered hang tag and more.
The limited-edition West NYC x Adidas Gazelle Indoor “Wizard” arrives Dec. 14 at West NYC and via Westnyc.com. It will retail for $130.
What’s more, both West NYC and Adidas confirmed they are donating a portion of sales to Men at Work Healing, a New York City-based collective that focuses on healing and self empowering transformation through self expression, ritual and intentional community.
