Verdy Renders the Kenzo-Pace in Monochrome Primary Colors for Their First Sneaker Collaboration

Verdy and Nigo‘s second collaboration for Kenzo is bringing their first foray into sneakers.

As part of the “Colors” collection, the Kenzo-Pace sneaker is getting three monochromatic looks in primary colors. Options are available in all-red, all-blue and all-yellow — which are broken up nominally by reflective trim and branding.

The sneakers will release alongside a capsule of staples mostly rendered in primary colors including sweats, T-shirts and hats. Just like the previous collection, these pieces utilize the same font from Verdy’s Girls Don’t Cry label for “Kenzo Paris” spell-outs.

Kenzo introduced its Kenzo-Pace model in 2024 amid the trend of Y2K era running sneakers. It features a familiar arrangement of mesh with synthetic overlays and reflective detailing found frequently in retro models from New Balance, Asics, Nike and more. It’s also the second new Kenzo sneaker in the Nigo era, following the Kenzo-Dome, a suede low-top with a much more minimalist approach and that’s inspired by ’90s skate shoes.

Earlier this year, Kenzo also partnered with Asics on a four-pack of the Gel-Kayano 20.

The Verdy x Kenzo Kenzo-Pace sneaker will release April 12 through Kenzo’s website and boutiques, as well as select third-party retailers including Essx NYC. Pricing hasn’t yet been announced, but the Kenzo-Pace typically retails for $470.
