With new Nike Kobe Bryant sneaker releases leaking on a near-weekly basis, a fresh batch of upcoming styles was just shared by the most reliable source of them all: Vanessa Bryant.
Vanessa took to Instagram early Tuesday to show off six upcoming Kobe releases, including some that have already been reported, but just as many that were previously unseen.
Newly revealed pairs include a Nike Kobe 9 EM Protro “Mambacita” in honor of Gigi Bryant, a Nike Kobe 4 Protro “CHBL” for the Chinese High School Basketball League and a butter-hued Kobe Bryant x Nike Air Force 1 Low in yellow and purple.
The “Mambacita” Kobe 9 EM features a white and black gradient colorway with gold detailing. Overall, the palette matches past “Mambacita” Kobe releases including the Kobe 4 Protro, Kobe 6 Protro, and Kobe 8 Protro. The Kobe 9 EM Protro “Mambacita” is set to be released May 1.
The Kobe 4 “CHBL” dons a bright “Lightening/Black/Soft Yellow/Dusty Cactus” colorway and is a nod to both Bryant’s personal connection to China as well as Nike’s endorsement of the Chinese High School Basketball League. It’s expected to launch this year.
Lastly, the new Kobe Bryant x Air Force 1 Low “Soft Yellow” blends a yellow leather upper with purple detailing. Unique features on this pair include an oversized number 8 at the heel and thick, patterned shoelaces. The pair will arrive sometime during 2025 along with other Kobe-branded Air Force 1s.
In addition to those styles, Vanessa’s post included the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Protro “What the Kobe,” Nike Kobe 8 Protro “What the Kobe” and the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Dodgers.” The “Dodgers” Kobe 6 will receive a wider release on April 13 for Mamba Day along with the “What the Kobe” Nike Kobe 8 Protro, while the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Protro “What the Kobe” is expected to drop in May.
