Travis Scott’s signature sneaker debut is about to touch down in its second colorway.

The Jordan Jumpman Jack “University Red” has been announced for a Friday release, marking the first time the variant is getting wide availability. The sneaker was previously made available to purchase in April through Nike’s Snkr Pass program, but only for customers in the Houston area.

Despite the Jordan Jumpman Jack name having been used up until now, it’s completely missing on Travis Scott‘s website leading up to the sneaker’s release. Instead, it’s listed as the “CJ1 T-Rexx University Red,” although it’s not yet clear if that means the name has been formally changed.

And in another surprise, Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, stars in one of the sneaker’s promotional videos shared Thursday to Scott’s social media channels. The elder rapper famously left Nike after two signature sneakers for Adidas before his lucrative second act in sneakers came to an end because of his antisemitic comments.

As Scott’s first original model, the Jumpman Jack combines elements of the Air Jordan 1 High and Low while continuing to use the rapper’s signature design elements through a backward Swoosh and his smiley face logo on the heel. A “TS” logo on the strap doubles as a grip when making adjustments, and “Jack” is printed onto the outsole much like Andy’s name appears on Woody’s boot in the “Toy Story” movies.

The “University Red” edition of the Jumpman Jack starts with a black mesh base overlayed with white leather. Red forms the Swoosh and the majority of the other branding elements, while the sole unit is split between white and a cream color.

Following a surprise launch to coincide with the Grammys in February, the Jumpman Jack got its global launch in late April in “Sail and Dark Mocha.” Scott has been collaborating with Nike and Jordan Brand since 2017, but everyone involved has been patient in moving from collaborative colorways of existing models to a full-on signature sneaker.

The Jordan Jumpman Jack “University Red” will release Friday, May 10, exclusively through Travis Scott’s website. A wider release will likely follow on the Snkrs app and from other retailers at a later date. Further release details have yet to be announced, but pricing should come in at $200.
