Serena Williams has received a new Nike lifestyle sneaker to call her own as part of the fall Serena Williams Design Crew collection.

The Serena Williams Design Crew x Nike Victory Tech incorporates elements of the Tech Hera, a chunky, Y2K running-shoe inspired model that debuted last year and which has proven especially popular among women.

The sole unit carries over from the sneaker named for the Greek goddess of marriage, women and family. An all-new upper gets a much higher tongue to go along with arch-shaped side panels incorporated into the lacing system and inspired by Los Angeles architecture. The collar offers snug, sock-like fit, while the forefoot makes use of a breathable mesh. Gold-tone metal detailing comes in a tiny Swoosh near the lateral heel and a “W” logo on the tongue. On the inner tongue, you’ll also find “Victory is very, very sweet,” and “It tastes better than any deserve you’ve ever had,” written in cursive on the left and right shoe, respectively.

“I’m excited to continue my partnership with Nike and proud to provide emerging Los Angeles designers a platform to explore their craft and bring a touch of our dynamic LA edge to sport style in an influential way,” Williams said in a press release.

In addition to the sneakers, the Serena Williams Design Crew x Nike line has also released a run of five apparel pieces consisting of an oversized bomber jacket, cutout tank top, baseball shirt, high-rise baseball pants and high-rise shorts.

The Serena Williams Design Crew x Nike Victory Tech is out now on Nike’s website in women’s sizes 5 through 12. Pricing for the sneakers is set at $120, and the new apparel runs from $65 to $180.
