After his latest New Balance collaboration — an uncharacteristically subtle made-in-England 1500 sneaker — quietly surfaced online, multi-brand partner Salehe Bembury has taken to social media to begin the rollout for his first Puma shoe.

Bembury shared to Instagram a new Puma sneaker collaboration which is highly reminiscent of the brand’s Deviate Nitro Elite 3 running shoe. The style shared by Bembury is a low-top green and blue runner which incorporates his squiggly fingerprint pattern into the rear midsole while applying a similar erratic aesthetic to the formstrip logo.

The upper of the sneaker has also been enhanced with a new web-like overlay that wraps across a patterned mesh. Co-branding appears on the medial section, while a Puma logo stylized with Bembury’s fingerprint pattern is featured on the tongue. The tongue also replaces the sneaker’s usual “Deviate” text with new wording, although it can’t be discerned from the photo.

Bembury’s Puma partnership was announced in July 2024. Specifically, he’s aligned with the Puma Hoops division and slated to create the brand’s next signature sneaker. However, based on this early look, it appears as though his first venture with the Herzogenaurach, Germany-based outfit will be on a running model.

Bembury also shared an image of a brand meeting alongside A$AP Rocky, who along with Puma was honored with the 2024 FNAA Collaboration of the Year award.

Despite the teaser image, no further information on the new Puma shoe was shared by Bembury. Readers can expect more updates soon.
