Following a blowout sale of past releases for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Salehe Bembury is quickly following up with a brand-new edition of his Crocs sneaker.
The Salehe Bembury x Crocs Juniper “Sudd” appears to take after the South Sudan swamp of the same name. A quick glance at a Satellite view of Sudd will show some of the same colors that grace the sneaker, as olive green and a sulfury yellow form the upper. The outsole molded with Bembury’s signature fingerprint motif then takes on a translucent brown tinge with orange underneath.
Including its debut in the spring, Bembury’s Juniper model had previously been named after foods for all three of its colorways. “Quava” rang in the highly anticipated launch of the model while taking after the fruit, followed by the “Taro” and “Tahini” editions invoking the root vegetable and condiment, respectively.

2024 has also seen the addition of the Saru Clog, a hybrid of the Pollex Clog and Classic Clog, to Bembury’s Crocs line, and several new colorways for the Pollex Clog and Pollex Slide have made the models more accessible. Bembury has previewed a Crocs Duck Boot as well, although the model has yet to be given a concrete release date.
The growth comes after Bembury and Crocs were honored with the 2023 FN Achievement Award for Collection of the Year.
The Salehe Bembury x Crocs Juniper “Sudd” will release Thursday, December 5, through Bembury’s Be a Spunge website. Pricing is set at $140. And unless any surprises are in store, the sneaker will likely be the final release for Bembury of the year.
