To celebrate the new Color of the Year, sustainable sneaker brand Cariuma has once again collaborated with Pantone.

The new color of the year is Pantone 12-1023, more commonly referred to as “Peach Fuzz.” The color has been described as “a soft and subtle peach hue that inspires recalibration and an opportunity for nurturing, conjuring up an air of calm and offering us a space to feel, heal and flourish from.” It was further described as “an all-embracing tone designed to inspire a year of compassion, empathy and communion with those we love and the world around us.”

One of the reimagined looks is the Naioca, which is a the brand described as an “ankle-skimming low cut” sneaker created with performance and stability in mind. The shoe, which Cariuma said was designed with a nostalgic style and modern ethics, is made with organic canvas and natural rubber. Other materials used include ethically sourced natural rubber, heavy-duty organic cotton canvas and recycled post-consumer plastic. The Pantone x Cariuma Naioca will retail for $89.

There are also two colorways of the Oca Low, Cariuma’s comfortable and style-driven sneaker that the brand has labeled a “timeless classic.” As for the materials, the model is made with organic cotton canvas and features soles using raw ethically tapped rubber that Cariuma stated leaves the Brazilian trees unharmed in the process. Both Oca Low colorways will retail for $89.

The remaining shoe in the collection is an updated version of the Salvas, a shoe Cariuma said features clean classic lines that evoke old school aesthetics but is crafted with new school ethics. It is made with LWG certified leather, Cordura Eco on the uppers and recycled mesh and cork insoles. The Pantone x Cariuma Salvas will retail for $139.
