LeBron James and A’ja Wilson Debut the Nike LeBron 22 During the Paris Olympics

LeBron James started his quest for yet another Olympic gold medal as a member of Team USA on Sunday, and he did so with his latest Nike signature shoe laced up.

The 39-year-old basketball superstar — who scored 21 points in Team USA’s 110-84 win over Serbia — wore a patriotic red, white and blue pair of the Nike LeBron 22 on court. The iteration James wore on Sunday was predominantly blue and white with hits of red throughout. The shoe includes several eye-catching details, including James’ crown logo on the medial side and a small jewel Swoosh on the lateral side.

Although James teased the LeBron 22 shoe in June and has worn it on the court during Olympic competition, Nike has not revealed the tech that will be included or any release info.

Aside from James, WNBA star A’ja Wilson has also laced up the Nike LeBron 22. Wilson and Team USA women’s basketball haven’t played in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games yet, however she has worn the LeBron 22 during practice. Wilson — who wears shoes from the Nike LeBron franchise on court with the Las Vegas Aces — has been spotted in a white and red pair.
