Throughout 2024, Nike has paid tribute to some of the biggest cities in North America through special editions of the Dunk Low and Air Max 95. Atlanta kicked off the unofficial city series with its own version of the Air Max 95, which was followed by the Dunk Low “Philly.” The pendulum then swung to Toronto with another Air Max 95, and now the Dunk Low is back up for a trip to the west coast.
The Nike Dunk Low “LA” celebrates Los Angeles with an atmospheric theme. Cream suede and canvas dominate the upper, but the mid panel and tongue take on a sky blue gradient. An “LA” graphic on the tongue then takes the shape of clouds, and the same treatment is applied to the sky blue mustache’s “Nike” mark, as well as the insole’s Swoosh. The side Swooshes take on a striped texture, and the shoe is rounded out with a colorless translucent midsole and outsole.

Despite the sneaker’s release being just days away, Nike has yet to formally announce the Dunk Low “LA.” If it follows the pattern of the previous city-centric sneakers, the show was likely designed in collaboration with several local boutiques, of which Los Angeles has no shortage of.
A Ma Maniére, Wish ATL, Walter’s and Soleplay worked on the Air Max 95 “ATL,” while Lapstone & Hammer and Crème came together for the Dunk Low “Philly.” The Air Max 95 “Toronto” was then a joint effort between Better Gift Shop, Livestock and Capsule.
The Nike Dunk Low “LA” will release Saturday, October 26, through the Snkrs app and select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $125.
