Nike’s focus on the reimagined Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble sneaker will continue throughout the year with multiple new styles for the retro running sneaker set to be released. With a number of looks already in circulation, three new colorways with unique detailing will soon join the fray.
The three-sneaker Nike Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble “Mini Swoosh” pack lives up to its name with the addition of miniature embroidered Swoosh logos near the toe of each pair. The model’s signature small ankle Swoosh is also present, giving the collection a double-branded look.
Also unique to this group is its material selection, which includes a ripstop nylon side panel overlay along with a reflective strip adorned with a topographical-like pattern.
Further setting this set apart from standard Air Max 95 releases is its OG Big Bubble distinction, which includes noticeably larger visible Air units intended to closely match the original 1995 version of the model. The shoe’s overall shape has also been tweaked with a less tapered toe box.
At this point, it’s becoming a task in itself to keep track of all of Nike’s Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble releases. The rollout began with the staggered launch of the original “Neon” colorway and has also included a hyper-limited “Reverse Gradient” style. A new “Michigan” style is arriving at retailers along with similarly designed colorways and there are “Pink Foam” and “Bright Mandarin” pairs on the horizon along with a collaboration with Nike SB.
The Nike Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble “Mini Swoosh” pack will come in “White/Diffused Blue/Midnight Navy” (IF2718-100), “Black/Buff Gold/Anthracite/Black” (IB7682-002) and “Cool Gray/Psychic Blue/Wolf Gray/Cool Gray” (IB7682-001) color options. Each style retails for $180. While a U.S. release date has not yet been confirmed, the trio will begin arriving in select overseas markets on April 18.
