It looks like Nike will be making the most out of its renewed partnership with Deion Sanders in 2025.

In addition to a slew of upcoming “Coach Prime” releases that have been previewed in various capacities, an original colorway of Sanders’ first Nike signature shoe is reportedly destined for a comeback. According to Sole Retriever, the Nike Air Diamond Turf will return in its “Emerald” style during fall 2025.

Originally released during the model’s original run in 1993 and last seen in 2017, the “Emerald” Air Diamond Turf is unique in that it didn’t match the colors of Sanders’ teams at the time — he played for both the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Braves while the sneaker was out — yet it’s fondly remembered by fans. The white, black and emerald green color scheme was a staple of Sanders’ early Nike shoes, also appearing on the Air Diamond Turf 2 sequel in 1994.

Like the original “Atlanta Falcons” style and a black-and-purple iteration sometimes nicknamed “Baltimore Ravens” (which is also expected to return in ’25), the “Emerald” Air Diamond Turf features a contrasting gold mesh panel cutout on its mid-foot support strap.

And similar to those upcoming retros, the “Emerald” pair is expected to feature the logos seen on the original ’93 pair, details which have been omitted from some of the sneaker’s rereleases due to Sanders’ decades-long falling out with Nike.

Other soon-to-be-released Nike Sanders sneakers include the “Atlanta Falcons” Air DT Max 96, which will launches Friday, along with a “Must Be the Money” Air Diamond Turf inspired by the former dual-sport star’s brief rap career and a LeBron James-Sanders hybrid sneaker

Readers can expect the Nike Air Diamond Turf “Emerald” retro to hit stores during fall ’25 for a retail price of $150. Images of the ’17 reissue appear below.
